Who We Are
The Principal of the firm, Amanda Dries, has practised predominantly in the area of family law, and also has experience in wills, conveyancing and property law.
Amanda has been practising primarily in family law in the local area since being admitted to the Supreme Court of NSW in 2010, and later, the High Court of Australia.
Amanda has a Masters in Applied Law in Family Law, with experience in all types of parenting matters, complex property settlement matters, divorce and child support for married, de facto and same sex couples. We can assist with early intervention strategies such as mediation, advice for people who are unsure of their rights and obligations and representation in matters before the Local Court and Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia.
Amanda is also a member of the Legal Aid NSW Family Law Panel, being able to assist clients with early intervention mediations and ultimately court litigation if required.
Separation can be a difficult time for families, particularly where children are involved. We can provide advice about appropriate parenting arrangements that take your personal circumstances into account and whether arrangements are best formalised by way of a Parenting Plan or Consent Orders.
